i have had front row seats
to my own financial anxieties and money frustrations. Money was a monster, credit cards became a lifestyle, and talking about money – let’s just say those conversations were often painful.
BEING YAY HIGH IN DEBT LEFT ME FEELING HOPELESS,
living in fear, with no financial confidence.
As an accountant, you would think that my fascination with debits, credits, and account balances would provide me with the expertise to be my own personal finance superstar – and it does, but as GOD’S BABY GIRL living by His goodness and a whole lot of His grace, there is a greater calling in managing money that goes beyond pluses and minuses.
For me, that meant going back to who I am and whose I am and developing a Godly relationship with money, moving me beyond the numbers into divine surrender and stewardship. It transformed my money anxieties into renewed hope, wisdom, and strategic decisions, positioning me for financial well-being and financial confidence. It has been a thrill of a ride. (Yes! Fixing my finances is super exciting).
